Art Briles College Coach

Looks like the Cougars coach Art Briles is getting his shot at an interview. Art Briles is currently with the University of Houston but has been under the radar of Baylor college as if Art Briles is a piece of meat. Well actually not really, but Baylor wants to interview with coach Art Briles and see what they might be able to off the man. I don;t think the fans of Houston are too happy with Coach Briles decision to give a second glance at coaching somewhere else, but when your options are open you got to check things out on the other side of the fence. Marko Jaric Performs

Marko Jaric of the Minnesota Timberwolves is reported to be dating Victoria Secret model Adriana Lima. Man!! Ad I must say Man, How did Marko Jaric pull this one off? I am sure being that Marko Jaric is a pro basketball player moves him in the right direction for one thing. If we hadn’t heard enough sad news about the Sean Taylor shooting and death this is at least something positive. Bad news is no good but good news can somehow make things a bit better especially when it has the name Adriana Lima in it. (more…)

Oldest College Football Rivalry

The oldest college football rivalry around is Kansas and Missouri. The reason this is the oldest college football rivalry is because the games between these two teams started on the football field back 1891. This is by far the oldest college football rivalry around. Since 1891 up till today Kansas and Missouri have played a total of 115 times to date. The rivalry has always been extremely fierce. The oldest college football rivalry continues, and today they play their hearts out in a big game that many will not forget. (more…)

Longest College Field Goal

The longest field goal ever kicked can actually be attributed to 3 people. Sixty seven yards is the longest college field goal and they were all kicked in the 1970’s. With all the longest college field goal in the 70’s it must have been pretty good to be a kicker back then. So following is a list of the guys who have done it. Russell Erxleben did it in the Texas vs. Rice, game on October 1, 1977. Then Steve Little cranked one in the Arkansas vs. Texas game on October 15th 1977. Joe Williams also kicked one in the Wichita State vs. Southern Illinois game on October 21 1978. (more…)

Every player will look for signs that His or her coach is communicating. If you are a coach, it is imperative that you let your players know that you are communicating with them. Priest Holmes

Priest Holmes retires today. Its a sad day for people that are Priest Holmes fans. Priest Holmes came back only briefly to play for the Kansas citey chiefs and then was unable to. Priest Holmes announced his retirement at the Arrowhead stadium in Kansas City earlier today. Priest Holmes will be missed greatly by all his fans and those who have respected him for his years of playing the game. (more…)

Jim Ringo

Sadly today the death of Jim Ringo who is a Pro Football Hall of Famer has saddened many. Jim Ringo passed away Monday morning, at the age of 75 years. Jim Ringo played for the Philadelphia Eagles as well as the Green Bay packers and was a darn good player at that. He died only 2 days before he was to turn 76 years of age. Many will miss Jim Ringo and many will remember him in future times. (more…)

Romeo Miller, the kid also known as Lil Romeo has gotten a full free college scholarship to play at USC. How does Romeo Miller get a free scholarship when other kids have to pay High dollar? Michael Vick surrenders

Michael Vick surrenders today to US Marshals today and will remain in jail until his sentencing takes place. There are other reasons for Michael Vick surrenders as well. Michael Vick is now only realizing he has no good shot at getting out of this one now so he surrenders. This guy is a real joke. I don’t like him no matter what he may say. (more…)

Jon garland Orlando Cabrera trade

Big trade on Monday with Jon Garland going to the Los Angeles Angels on for shortstop Orlando Cabrera. Jon Garland will be heading to LA. Jon Garland is 28 years old and has had some success with the the White Sox, but now it looks like Orlando Orlando Cabrera will be a part of that ball club now. (more…)

Highest scoring NFL game

The highest scoring NFL game was back when the the Redskins defeated the Giants 72-41 on November 27, 1966. The numbers for a game of this magnitude add up to some huge numbers. The highest scoring NFL game that people also consider of significance is the Dec. 8, 1940 Chicago Bears beat the Washington Redskins 73-0 which is a pretty embarrassing score. (more…)

browns field goal by Phil Dawson

The Browns field goal by Phil Dawson is just crazy. If you havent seen this Browns field goal then you don’t even know. The fact that this Browns field goal meant winning or losing a game just makes it that much more crazy. After Phil Dawson kicked the Browns field goal, it had to be reviewed by refs. What is crazy is the fact that this was Phil Dawson’s second longest kick ever in his career. (more…)

Donovan McNabb injury

Bad news for Eagles as Donovan McNabb injury caused him to leave the game on Sunday in the second quarter against Miami with a badly sprained right ankle. Donovan McNabb injury is a shock to many right now. He does not want this to be happening and the Eagles do not want this either nearly a full year after his season had ended previously with a torn knee ligament. (more…)
