There was only 38 seconds left on the clock and Steve Walker throws a bomb to Kole Heckendorf to serve up some serious butt kicking. This huge pass turned out to be an 80 yard pass to the receiver who took it home for a touchdown against Cal Poly Football. What the heck happened here. Does anyone have an answer back?

The shocker just put Cal Poly football in a mood you only see in a nightmare movie. They had their jaws dropped in amazement. Am I embellishing enough here? All of this happened at homecoming in the Alex G. Spanos Stadium. Heres a few more stats. Walker was 14 of 30 for 342 yards as the opposers made it happen in the final minutes. Thats some serious lack of Cal Poly Football.

Tyler Roehl a running back from North Dakota State is going to be a Walter Payton Award candidate. Nothing here about Cal Poly football thats for sure. How do you figure on that one? Well look at him. The kid rushed for 100 yards for already the seventh time this season, however they managed to keep his butt out of the end zone until four minutes and 20 seconds remained.

Roehl’s four yard touchdown helped bring the came even closer with a score of 28-25 and set the stage for the Bison’s late hero moves. Walker just threw the tar out of his arm in the fourth quarter for 190 yards. Unbelievable for North Dakota, and unbelievable for Cal poly Football too, but in a bad way.

The only man of interest is Cal Poly football quarterback Jonathan Dally who managed to throw about 180 yards worth down the field. He was 14 for 23 and had about 3 touchdowns. Doesnt look like anything spectacular this game for Cal Poly football.

Maybe next time The Cal Poly football team will be not so easily caught off guard. You can never let your guard down when you have a good lead or a sure victory in your mind.
