Alex Rodriguez spoke with the owners of the Yankees and officials on Wednesday, wanting to make the statement that he wants to stay a Yankee. Alex Rodriguez will remain a Yankee most likely but we don’t have full details and Alex rodriguez hasn’t put anything in stone about staying on the Yankees team. However we can all agree that it would be a good move for the Yankees to keep A-ROD.

It looks like Alex Rodriguez will most likely win his third AL MVP award next week. Alex Rodriguez had something to say about the Yankees and more when he said “It became clear to me that I needed to make an attempt to engage the Yankees regarding my future with the organization.”

Alex Rodriguez realizes the Yankees is where he wants to be. This is important for a professional baseball player especially when he has been playing for a decent amount of time. Will he make the decision to hang around? How will the fans feel about Alex Rodriguez remaining in a Yankees uniform? I am sure everyone will want to see more of him for a while.

So what is i that make Alex Rodriguez want to stay with the Yankees? Here is what Alex Rodriguez had to say. “We know there are other opportunities for us, but Cynthia and I have a foundation with the club that has brought us comfort, stability and happiness.”

Im sure you may be wondering if Alex Rodriguez were to join another team what baseball teams was he looking at besides the Yankees? One other team that might have been an option for Alex Rodriguez may have been Los Angeles Dodgers, but thats completely opposite of where Alex Rodriguez wants to be. Whatever Alex Rodriguez decision to stay with the Yankees we know that he will make the best decision for his family.

I think hes gonna stay with the yankees. But I think the Yankees also want to say, hey this is our park you sign with us not the other way around. They want to make it look like its their choice not his.
