Phoenix international raceway winner Kyle Busch

Written on November 11, 2007 – 2:02 pm | by JC |

The winner of the Phoenix international raceway truck race was Kyle Busch. He finished just under 0.5 seconds ahead of his tailing competito Hornaday. Skinner who was in the number 8 spot before the final lap gave way to his teammate Johnny Benson who came in short of spectacular. I know you want to know about crashes right?

Jacques Villeneuve tapped the back end of Stacy Compton right after coming through the 4th turn. Compton then lost all control and flew right down into Andy Lally. Lally didn’t do to well from the hit as he hit the concrete barrier. His hit was so hard that he even cracked the pit wall. After this he was taken to a hospital to be examined and make sure that He would make it out of this one. He was reported to have been awake but we will have to wait for news on his status of health. We all hope his injuries are not all that severe. We will just have to wait and see.

There was about a 15 minute down time while the repair at the phoenix international raceway to the wall was being made. On the restart there was nobody that gave trouble to the first placed Kyle Busch, but there was a fighting for second place and Hornaday who was in third took it from Mike Bliss and made a successful pass for second place spot.

Overall this is a big win for Kyle Busch at the Phoenix international raceway. He has made som real headway on the road considering that he has had a bad streak now for about 2 weeks. Maybe he will get on a roll and have some more nice wins on the way. With these things its anybodys win if they have a great vehicle and some good tires.
