The Philadelphia marathon started at 7am. The Philadelphia marathon has about 16,000 runners and is approximately 26 miles. The philadelphia marathon is also one of the fastest paced marathons according to many. It encompasses much of the city and is enjoyed by many runners. If you want to participate in the philadelphia marathon, here is some info about it.

For this years winner of 2007 starting at 7 am and ending at 9:37am there was a winner. For the 2007 philadelphia marathon Timothy Piston won the men’s portion and for the womens event Kristin Price took first place. We congratulate Timothy and Kristen for their run and hope to see them next year for the event!

Maybe next year in the philadelphia marathon we will have some new winners. We will just have to wait and see who comes out on top in the fast paced philadelphia marathon.

For the scenic aspect of the philadelphia marathon if you are planning on running it. The course for the Philadelphia Marathon winds past historic buildings, through urban neighborhoods and between two rivers.

The Philadelphia marathon is mostly flat, so you can run hard most of the way. As you can see by the time of the first finisher, that means they were able to run the philadelphia marathon at about a little under 6 minutes a mile. This is a pretty quick and steady pace. now you may not be able to run at this pace, but you will still enjoy the scenery and the good feeling of running the philadelphia marathon.
