The Shanghai Tennis masters tournament in Shanghai China has proved to be a bumpy ride for some as well as a promising enlightenment for others. Andy Roddick the American who was number 1 in the world and is still believed to be started off his Shanghai Tennis Masters Cup campaign with a tough win over Russian world number four Nikolay Davydenko. I am sure he is happy to have that over with.

Andy Roddick could have made it a short game with his lead he had in the beginning, but the Russian contender pushed him for all sets. Other popular favorites that are playing Monday as well are the likes of Roger Federer who is from Switzerland and a number one champion. As well as some Latin blood Fernando Gonzalez from Chile, who is ranked as the seventh seed overall.

This Shanghai Tennis match up takes place at Shanghai’s Qi Zhong Tennis Stadium. Another Heavy contender who has proved himself on the court and especially in this Shanghai Tennis masters game is Raphael Nadal. He is seeking a Grand Slam title. He is not only a multi millionaire but also only short of 22 years of age.

These match ups are very interesting because of the energy in the Shanghai tennis masters tournament games which are being spread out through the course of the day. While many of the players know where they stand in the rankings of the shanghai tennis masters, many of them are really fighting to stay alive as the purse for this championship is pretty large.

I am sure any of us who are tennis fans would love to have made it to the shanghai tennis masters. The turnouts are huge and the games are intense, but its easiest to just wait till the games come to us and leave the Shanghai tennis masters location.
